Job Description

Manages and provides oversight of all activities of the Clinical Research Nurses, Study Coordinators, and Clinical Research Associates who are responsible for staff in-service and training, patient enrollment, compliance, data acquisition and follow-up of assigned clinical research studies and research projects. The Manager of Research Coordination must have specific background and training in Clinical Research Studies and experience in preparing budgets and periodic reports of meetings with representatives of sponsoring organization regarding patient recruitment, data forms, and patient follow up. Must have strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and FDA guidelines and requirements. The Manager of Research Coordination will have demonstrated effective management skills and good communications skills.
  • Position requires 3-5 years experience in a Clinical Research leadership role.
  • Experience managing Clinical Research Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators strongly preferred.
  • If RN, must have MO and KS RN license.
