Job Description

Job Summary:

A strategic and analytical marketer who thrives in a rapidly changing environment,

is curious and has the vision to revolutionize how Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté engage consumers throughout their brand lifecycles.


This role is crucial in driving profitable growth on these skincare and makeup brands by inspiring discovery, engagement, conversion, and loyalty among new, existing, prospective, and lapsed consumers across shopping channels.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive planning and execution of Ratings & Review seeding/sampling programs with quantitative goals to hit benchmarks around coverage and quality of reviews
  • Budgeting oversight on the team’s CEP process as it relates to budgeting and invoicing. Monthly budget accruals and actualizations
  • Direct Mail campaigns – Lead development, execution, and analysis of evergreen direct mail campaigns in collaboration with ADX, including mapping out segmentation, finalizing promotional details, and managing the creative process for any deliverables to vendors and partners.
  • Sweepstakes, Sampling and Ratings & Reviews seeding programs
  • In partnership with internal stakeholders (Ecomm, Brand Marketing, PR, Education, Media and in-house creative team) author clear and compelling creative briefs to ensure best-in-class content is created for owned digital channels--- including retailer.com, CRM programs, /e-mail/SMS, paid media, site, organic social and other consumer touchpoints, including influencer optimized media assets
  • Marketing Briefs for CPB and Shiseido focused on collaborative marketing events (holiday, artist, product collections)
  • Loyalty Lite programs / Surprise & Delight for Radiant Rewards & MyShiseido – Set goals, lead strategy and work with ADX, Creative, Marketing and eComm partners to drive CRM goals among our top customers base
  • Customer-Facing Marketing projects (i.e. FCA, Same Day Shipping) – Lead cross-functional teams from a digital marketing perspective from ideation to execution to performance analysis and iterative improvement
  • Develop, program and execute Sweepstakes to increase the CRM database and lift customer engagement


Qualifications & Competencies:

  • 3-5+ years digital marketing and/or eCommerce experience in-house at a brand or at a digital creative agency
  • Basic understanding of CRM, including acquisition, retention, and prospect segments.
  • Leader that champions positive internal culture aligned with brand vision
  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and best practices
  • Smart, creative, forward-looking thinker and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Collaborative work style and presence across audiences (disciplines and seniority levels), including strong organizational and customer management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to persuade others, articulate a point of view, and set direction
  • Extreme attention to detail, organizational skills, and process
  • Experience driving 360 marketing planning and integrated marketing programming with proven results, leading with digital and social media
  • Extremely solution-oriented, proactive problem-solver
  • Proficiency in all office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Beauty/Fashion industry experience preferred, but not required
  • Capable of synthesizing data to drive business decisions
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and some autonomy
