We're currently on the hunt for an experienced Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis and Project Control, to join our team. The Manager will be responsible for both FP&A and Project Control functions, reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Accounting. You will be critical in managing financial planning, developing comprehensive financial models, and overseeing project control activities. What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support decision-making
  • Compute the GSA Quarterly Fee Calculation
  • Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans
  • Add charge codes to billable employee profiles and submit them for review.
  • Conduct risk management related to customer funding in collaboration with the Contracts department
  • Generate monthly trend analysis reports on customers
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis efforts for government contracts
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
  • Monitor the project budget and coordinate with finance to accurately capture all billable and non-billable activities
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer, project manager, and internal leadership
  • Project Control:
  • Support project managers with accounts receivable collections
  • Participate in budget and forecast preparation
  • Manage the P&L for departments, customers, and projects
Qualifications
  • US Citizenship required*
What skills are required?
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Proven understanding of financial statistics and GAAP principles
  • Ability to manage and guide employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used. One of the key responsibilities of this position will be effective people management. The ideal candidate will be expected to lead a diverse team in the future, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages collaboration and innovation. They will be responsible for employee development, including mentoring and coaching, performance evaluations, and handling any team conflicts that may arise.
  • Bachelor-s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A and project control, preferably within the cybersecurity or government contracting industries
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team.

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90-110k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
