  • Education
  • JOB SUMMARY
  • Three (3) years of management experience in electronic services, preferably in Medical Imaging and Biomedical services. Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical equipment including JCAHO, NFPA, AAMI, FDA and CMS. Competent using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with equipment management databases.
  • Manager will enhance the service line through strong communication and collaboration with the cross-functional team and ensure biomedical services comply with Joint Commission and other regulatory and inspection agency requirements, guidelines, and standards. A biomedical manager is responsible for a wide-variety of tasks that depend on the industry and specialization of the company. This position is required to utilize independent judgement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, natural sciences, communication engineering, business administration or other related disciplines. May be waived for trade school electronics courses and certification.

  • Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal soft tones. Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards. Operates electronic test equipment, drills, saws and ladders. Lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
