We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician


Pay rate: $26 - $36 per hour + shift differential + signing bonus


  • Eligible for a $1000 signing bonus to be paid in increments throughout your first 12 months of employment. A shift differential is also paid out and varies per role and shift.


Available Shifts


First Shift, 6/7/8:00am to 2/3/4:30pm Monday - Friday (Facilities)


M1A - 12, 6am to 6pm 1/2 Sunday - Wednesday/FT (Maintenanance Helper)


M1B - 12, 6am to 6pm Thursday - 1/2 Sunday (Maintenance Tech)


M2B - 12, 6pm to 6am Thursday - 1/2 Sunday (Maintenance Tech)

What You’ll Do


  • Interprets engineering schematics and procedures used during machine diagnostics.
  • Assists with building maintenance as needed.
  • Supports the operational environment by maintaining an OSHA safety standards.
  • Maintains control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors.
  • Contacts vendors for support with machine repairs and diagnostics.
  • Administers and updates all calibration methods and procedures as required.
  • Performs calibration and verify test standards are within required tolerances.
  • Ensures proper operation of equipment by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Performs installation of all types of optical equipment and works with engineers as needed.
  • Manages the repair and calibration of key tools and measurement devices inclusive of general calibration.
  • Trains on calibration process as needed.


Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 12 hours per day per shift schedule).
  • Experience working with basic computer programs.
  • Must be able to read and understand technical data provided for the role.
  • Must have background in optical machinery, automotive or maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs to equipment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on the Bazell system, auto tapers, auto-blockers, generators, polishers, de-blockers, de-tapers, conveyor belts, general building maintenance repairs.
  • Forklift and scissor lift operations licensed and able to perform safely. Technical certification preferred.
  • Must be able to make repairs of optical machines in a timely manner and document process within the CMMS.
