Responsibilities: Maintains and makes repairs to the facility and equipment in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of maintenance requests and assists Plant Director with preventive maintenance and life safety checks. Responsible for painting and repairs to rooms and/or apartments to prepare for incoming residents. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED desired. Vocational training in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum three years related experience in a commercial building or health care environment preferred. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Boilers License a plus. Pool Operator certification preferred. Universal Refrigeration Certificate preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills. Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise appropriate judgment. Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of related or unrelated jobs. Ability to perform manual labor, including being able to lift up to 50 pounds.
