In this position you will join a team and be able to:


  • Apply your experience and skills to complete maintenance service requests such as repairing drywall, painting, carpentry, etc. as well as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and other appliances.
  • Fix minor electrical repairs such as power switches, fuses, and wall sockets.
  • Assist with organizing, prioritizing, and ensuring that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
  • With your solid maintenance background, you will help in the overall success of the property by repairing and replacing faucets, toilets, and hot water tanks; fixing garbage disposals, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines.
  • Perform all work necessary to bring and maintain vacated units to rent ready condition in a timely manner.
  • Notify Property Manager on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning counter tops, appliances, bathrooms and polishing.
  • As a team member, you will assist with turnkey operations by preparing vacant units rent-ready in a timely manner and performing various repairs.
  • Maintain leasing office, models, clubhouses, public, and common interior areas of the property in a neat, clean, attractive condition.
  • Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
  • Monitor public restrooms throughout the day for cleanliness and adequate supplies.
  • Comply with all safety standards within OSHA specifications as well as all company guidelines.
  • Utilizes cleaning chemicals and at times equipment to complete tasks, meeting quality standards; Orders housekeeping supplies and monitors inventory.
  • Assists in responding professionally to any complaints/requests.


As The Ideal Candidate, Your Background Includes


  • Must be able to read and write in English at intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, write reports, etc.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing is highly desired.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; specialized vocational training with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in building and facility maintenance a plus.
