Job Description
Our Automotive Supplier client located in New Boston, MI is seeking Maintenance Technicians for the following shift: 12 hour shift 6pm-6am.


  • Ensure quality, effectiveness, cleanliness and keep your responsible area in order
  • Effective coordination and execution of the assigned tasks and workorders
  • Repair of assembly and material handling equipment
  • Rebuilding and improvement of assembly equipment (root cause analysis and improvement)
  • Responsible for meeting the OSHA/safety requirements in the work area - maintain as required
  • Detailed recording of the fulfilled tasks on a daily basis in SAP
  • Creation of operating manuals, service instructions and control instructions for the production equipment
  • Servicing and preventive maintenance of assembly, material handling equipment according to service instructions and control instructions
  • Proposals for job related and organization related improvements


Requirements


  • EDP knowledge (SAP R3, MS-Office),
  • Experience in highly automated production equipment
  • Experience in TPM, KAIZEN, Poka Yoke, continuous improvement
  • 3 years experience in a maintenance department in the automotive industry
  • Technical knowledge and skills in electric, electronic, SPS (Siemens), CNC, robot technique, electric hydraulics, electric pneumatics, measuring technique, power drive technique, BUS systems (ASI, Profi)
