The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operational maintenance and troubleshooting of all onsite equipment and safety systems, while following established Environmental Health & Safety Standards to achieve an accident and injury free safe work environment. The technician is also required to follow and adhere to the established Quality Standards and Procedures designed to supply quality materials to our customers. Candidates will be required to meet training requirements and successfully pass scheduled validation reviews.
The Manufacturing site located in Chandler Arizona includes to two large-scale ASU’s (Air Separation Unit), an OFA (Oil Free Air) production system, and a Hydrogen Electrolyzer system.
Our Maintenance Technician has responsibility for but not limited to the following activities:
  • Coordinate mechanical/electrical maintenance for the facilities to include contractor supervision.
  • Troubleshoot plant processes and upsets using various indicators and DCS trends.
  • Maintain online training program requirements.
  • Calibrate and operate the hydrogen process, storage, and pipeline analyzers.
  • Ensure that all plant safety procedures are followed.
  • Assist in reviewing and updating operating procedures as required.
  • Ability to participate in a mandatory on-call rotation and support plant outages.
  • Maintain an electronic logbook of operation and maintenance activities.
  • Attend/Participate in monthly safety meetings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor and adjust the Hydrogen Electrolyzer plant process conditions using various valves and operating equipment.
  • Handle daily routines to include water treatment and equipment inspection.

Physical Requirements - must be able to:

  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • Climb ladders and steps and lift 50 lbs.
  • Be available during mandatory call-in requirements as scheduled.
  • Perform elevated work as required.

Experience / education desired:

  • Previous work history and/or military experience.
  • Ability to read/understand piping and instrumentation drawings.
  • Experience with personal computers and/or DCS systems.
  • Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Electrical, instrument or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency and software knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
