What We Have


We have an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Manager at our Mobile Home Community location on Ransomville, NY. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for performing various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. This includes but is not limited to; the general maintenance of the property, expense control, and adherence to preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will be an independent, self-starter who has excellent grounds keeping and maintenance skills. They should have a minimum of 2+ years maintenance experience, along with strong multitasking abilities and a passion for a commitment to excellence.

Maintenance Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Managing watering system to optimize turf conditions
  • And additional items as needed
  • Multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • Painting, general carpentry, electrical and plumbing such as unclogging drains, and HVAC repair/replacement
  • Work with the Property Manager to meet and exceed the needs of the Mobile Home community.
  • Perform grounds maintenance and overall upkeep to common areas of community
  • Will coordinate projects with vendors as needed
  • Work with the Property Manager to identify janitorial, grounds keeping and maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
  • Rehabbing of onsite or incoming homes.
  • Mowing, Edging, blowing, cleaning and Snowplowing if applicable


Maintenance Manager Qualifications


  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds is required
  • Willingness to work respectfully with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to solve problems involving: equipment/ maintenance issues, emergency situations, etc.
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must have a flexible schedule with weekend availability for maintenance emergencies
  • On call for emergency maintenance as needed and must be available by cell phone.
  • Valid driver's license and clean background required
  • 2-3 years of general maintenance experience
  • Willing to work in all outdoor conditions/elements – snow, rain, heat etc.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
