What we are Looking For

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified maintenance technician who shares our vision of excellent customer service and professionalism to join our team at one of our many properties located throughout the Tri-County area.

The right candidate will assist the Maintenance Supervisor in the daily maintenance operations which include service requests, apartment turnover and grounds.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor inventory of the commonly used parts and supplies to ensure adequate stock
• Assist with snow/ice removal, as required
• Clean and prepare apartments for new residents
• Administer other grounds maintenance activities as required
• Meet service request deadlines
• Ensure the quality and quantity of work; always maintaining high standards
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner as a Kaftan Communities representative, demonstrating sound judgement and conduct

What You Will Need to Have

• HVAC Certifications strongly preferred
• Ability to lift at least 80 pounds
• 3-5 years of property maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of mechanical systems such as water heaters, furnaces, and air conditioning units
• Valid Driver’s License
• EPA Certifications strongly preferred
• Have your own tools and transportation
• General plumbing and electrical experience
