The Maintenance Tech II focuses on the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of crystal growth furnaces, production machinery and related support equipment in order to keep the plant functioning in a safe and efficient manner. This individual works independently performing a wide variety of tasks such as the installation of automated equipment and the implementation of process/product improvement projects.The Maintenance Tech II maintains and installs equipment, troubleshoots machines, and makes repairs to the facility. Other duties may include snow removal, grounds maintenance, and general building maintenance.

On-call availability will be required on a rotating basis.

Due to the nature of the position, additional PPE outside of the normal standards may be required.

Requirements

• Experience with process cooling water systems preferred.
• Scissor lift, fork truck, etc.
• Journeyman Electrician
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, industrial equipment.
• Plumbing
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use a full face-negative pressure respirator or PAPR device required.
• License preferred but not required:
• General machining skills preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
