Job Description
MAINTENANCE SUPPORT / BOILER OPERATOR
Patrols internal and external property, investigates and/or reports unusual or suspicious situations. Maintains logs and records, enforces the organization’s security procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours. Operates and maintains boilers, air compressors, waste water storage, fire pumps and all related fire protection equipment. Assists with, and trains for, emergency situations. Handles the removal of recyclables, waste and other unneeded items from the facility. Provides facility related repairs/maintenance and supports the maintenance department as needed. Others duties as may be assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires walking throughout the facility and grounds, climbing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, and pulling (as necessary for maintenance).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Facility maintenance experience or training.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses required.
  • Inside and outside responsibilities.
  • Shop and office environment.
  • Must be able to regularly lift loads of up to 50 pounds.
Works rotating shift to maintain facility coverage 24 hours/day 7 days/week
