Maintenance Manager - 1St Shift

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager in their Monmouth, IL facility.The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance department.
Job Responsibilities

• Schedules and directs all maintenance technicians. Coordinates schedules for the most effective use.
• Reviews various reports/work orders and confers, when needed, with the Operations/Plant Manager to review problems and ensure corrective action to minimize downtime.
• Coordinates to ensure the facility, shop and work areas are consistently clean and in safe condition.
• Coordinates maintenance department inventory to be certain adequate supply of material and repair parts are in stock to reduce production downtime.
• Develop and maintain a PM program (documented/electronic for history/audit review) for all necessary equipment in the plants. Includes - Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual equipment PMs to schedule and execute.
• Continually seek out improvements to be applied to plant processes to increase efficiency.
• Collaborates with other departments to resolve maintenance problems to keep manufacturing equipment operating with an efficient manner.
• Assures, maintains, and repairs all aspects of the plant equipment and facility.
• Assures, that all food safety guidelines are met by maintenance employees when working on machinery or working in facility.
• Creates and maintains Maintenance Daily Summary Report of all maintenance related activities within the last 24 hours.
• Enforce safety rules daily.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 5 years in Maintenance Management/Supervisory role.
• Follows, enforces, and promotes all company rules and guidelines. • Welding experience is a plus.
• Solid communication and follow through to the team & plant manager of all maintenance projects, issues etc.
• Detailed knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems and conveyance systems.
• A well organized, hands on, motivated individual capable of multitasking and managing his or her time in the office and out on the floor.
• 3-5 years Food and Food Safety experience is a plus.
• Mechanical Engineering background a plus
• Experience with managing CMMS software
