Job Description

Job Title: Mailroom Clerk (MC)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of program leadership, the Mailroom Clerk is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of inbound and outbound mailing needs along with general administrative tasks within an office environment. The MC is not a remote position and will be required to come into the office in Lake Mary to perform their duties. Expected to greet guest or vendors visiting the office for meetings or deliveries occasionally.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • MC is required to come into the Lake Mary office location Monday through Friday.
  • Managing inbound mail by sorting, scanning and distributing to appropriate program or staff.
  • Print letters and documents based on business needs and coordinate mailing through either USPS or overnight carriers.
  • Follow corporate and program established processes to support ongoing delivery of accurate documentation.
  • Maintain supplies needed for mailing task and make sure there are no interruptions in services.
  • Complete compliance related trainings on HIPAA and Adverse Events for multiple programs.
  • Assists with detailed user acceptance testing relative to printing and mailing components.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining proper training documents for assigned tasks.
  • Greet guest and vendors visiting the office location.
  • Assist with administrative task associated with onsite meetings and training.
  • Assist with manual tracking and reporting identified by program management.
  • Willing to take packages to overnight carriers drop off locations as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous 2+ years of professional work experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to type 25 words per minute.
  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate directly and professionally with clients or visitors.
  • Ability to follow specific processes pertaining to compliance related events.
  • Strong computer application skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and flexible to new situations.
