Cummings Contract Delivery Services is a Highway contractor that delivers local mail for the for the United States Postal Service. This is a part time position in the Orlando, FL post office. Monday thru Saturday 20 to 25 hours per week with 1 to 2 days a week off if there is coverage if not you will work 6 days a week. Training pay to start is $13.00 per hr for 30 working days until you have met the assessed time on the route then pay goes to $15.00 per hr. You will stay at $13.00 per hr until assessed time on route is met.
Quaifications we are not postal employees but have to follow the same requirmentsto be able to enter the post office to sort and deliver mail.You must be a United States citizen or lived in the United States for at least 5 years. Be able to pass a federal background check. Pass a DOT drug test, Must be 18 years of age and had a driver's license at least 2 years not a permit and a clean 7 year driving record( no DUI"s, suspensions, excessive speeding tickets etc.) No criminal history for at least 10 years( probation,parole, convictions etc.) If you are male born after 1959 you must have registered for selective service. You must be able to lift up to 70 ilbs and deal with the occassional snakes, scorpions, cats and dogs. This is an outside enviroment.
