Macro Research Analyst Jobs

I am advising a Macro Strategy Team within a Multi Strat fund who are seeking a Macro Research. The candidate will be conducting analysis, working on ad-hoc research projects, collaborating with PMs and contributing to the enhancement of analytical infra. This opportunity is part of one of the fastest growing research team, directly interact with stakeholders of the firm, and gain invaluable insights and exposure.

Role Summary:

• Cultivate research relationships with banks, consultancies, and other financial institutions.
• Develop a suite of quantitative tools to support research efforts and aid portfolio managers in evaluating derivatives markets and generating trade ideas.
• Compile, synthesize, and present external research findings to internal stakeholders.
• Create quantitative analytics and systems to monitor market perspectives, forecasts, and their accuracy.
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc analyses of G10 and EM economies and markets.

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience at an Investment Bank or Asset Manager.
• Keen interest in the convergence of economics and capital markets.
• Proficient technical skills in Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving.
