Machine Operator Jobs

RIE Coatings, located in Dubuque, IA is looking for Machine Operators for both 1st and 2nd shifts. We are looking for folks willing to work hard, have some fun, be dependable and accountable, and be available to work overtime when needed.

Hours:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. When needed, OT will be on a Saturday morning

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am. When needed, OT will be on a Friday afternoon

The specific job duties depend on which line you are operating, but as a general rule of thumb, you will be required to read, understand, and follow a traveler (job spec sheet); move product with a pallet jack or forklift; perform quality checks and tests on parts, chemicals, coatings, etc; record data into the computer; move from the front of the line to end of line frequently; lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; be on your feet moving, walking, standing, and bending for the majority of your shift; and generally expect to be busy from the time you clock in, to the time you clock out. There is always something to do and everyone is expected to do their part.

Pay: $17.50 to start ($1.50 shift diff for 2nd shift), with opportunities for increases at 3, 6, and 12 months. Quarterly bonuses averaging between $500-$1000 depending on the achievement of targets. Referral and anniversary bonuses are also available!
