JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Zund Operator

Reports to: Director of MFG

Essential Functions

Pre-Press

• Assist in other finishing operations as needed.
• Operates Zund machine to produce custom-cut products.
• Review the schedule of jobs and plan work to ensure meeting customer specifications.
• Proficient in all Zund operations, including tool changes and maintenance
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain housekeeping standards.
• Performs minor repairs and preventative maintenance on cutter machines, including cleaning, changing blades, and vacuuming of belts.
• Preps cut pieces for final inspection area
• Remove finished or pre-finished material from cutter for next operation.
• Examines products for quality, and makes adjustments as needed.

Basic Responsibilities

• Detail-orientated with good organization and communication skills.
• Highly organized to independently manage time to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with computers using Adobe products (Illustrator, Acrobat)
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Zund Cutting: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
