We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Machine A Operator at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 4:00PM - 12:30AM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $21.79 and may be higher depending on experience. 2nd shift also has a shift premium of 4% of your base pay.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Set up and operate auto reverse tapping unit.
• Set up and operate cycle-Dyne heater and press & other equipment as added.
• Material handling equipment.
• Perform Quality Audit process.
• Clean work area on daily basis.
• Set up and operate plate roller.
• Record labor on work order and timecard accurately.
• Set up and operate drill presses.
• Set up and operate Do-All saws.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Set up and operate radial arm drill.
• Set up and operate hydraulic channel and bar shears.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read blueprint and both metric and imperial dimensions on a tape accurately. Must also be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Final candidates will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment physical and drug screen.
