Job Summary
  • Other tasks as directed.
  • Generate tasks within the LaMEDS system to alert Analysts action must be taken on documents received by receiving mail and internal documents, scanning and associating metadata, and accepting into the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS).
  • Communicate issues and pertinent information to supervisor as necessary through written and verbal communication.
  • Enter descriptive case notes into the EDMS based on documentation received.
  • Compile monthly productivity reports that track current projects, achievements, and future goals.
  • Receive phone inquiries from nursing facilities and other external providers and document.
  • Provide assistance to phone questions where possible, or secure appropriate assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.
DESIRED:
  • Professional experience in call center service, health care field, or Medicaid program support.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in an office setting.
  • Master’s degree.
