• Make an Impact! The Licensed Practical Nurse makes observations and collects data to assist the Physicians and / or Registered Professional Nurse for assessment and care of patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides medical care and psychological support for patients as planned by and under the supervision of Physicians and / or Registered Professional Nurses. Utilizing knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of these patients, the Licensed Practical Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate and diagnosis focused care. The Licensed Practical Nurse demonstrates competencies in evidence based nursing practice, in consultation with the Supervising Physician and / or Registered Nurse for planning and clinical decision making, using the best available research evidence, clinical expertise and patient preference. The Licensed Practical Nurse engages in clinical, departmental, and shared decision-making initiatives, resulting in a culture of safety and a superior patient experience. The Licensed Practical Nurse identifies each patient’s requirements in accordance with regulatory standards, the PA LPN Nurse Practice Act, and MLH policies and procedures. Travel required – work location will vary based on business needs.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
Licensures/Certifications:
1.A current PA LPN license or temporary practice permit to practice in PA.
2. Maintains validation of current BLS training (CPR).
3. Valid Drives License.

This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
