Position Details:

• Working 80 hours every two weeks
• Full-time position
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Shifts include: 2pm-10:30pm

As a LPN with Benedict Homes, you will work in an Assisted Living environment. Benedict Court is a 39 room complex that provides housing with assisted living services. Benedict Homes is a 27 unit complex specializing in Memory Care.

What you’ll do:

• Under the direction of the RN Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Manager, utilize the nursing process in providing direct and indirect care of residents/patients to meet their physical, educational, psychosocial and spiritual needs.

What you’ll have:

• Current (LPN) licensure in Minnesota Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• A valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation.
• Effective assessment, reporting, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness and critical judgment in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, policies, procedures and ethics.
• Ability to lead and supervise resident/patient care team.
• Professional and courteous customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge and skills to implement nursing theory.

• Sign-on bonus requirements: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare/Carros for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
