OVERVIEW OF ROLEOur elementary school (Match Community Day) has openings for lower elementary lead teacher positions - Kindergarten through 2nd grade - for the 2023-2024 school year. Lead Teachers are fully responsible for the growth and achievement of the student in their class (we have 18 students/class in Pre-K and Kindergarten and 24 students/class in grades 1-5). Lead Teachers are supported in the classroom by associate teachers, special education staff, or paraprofessionals.
The positions are based at our elementary school campus on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,200-$97,920 and is based on a candidates prior years of teaching experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.
