Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Maintain and foster a culture of safety resulting in reduction of OSHA and non-OSHA recordable incidents. Demonstrate reduction in Accident Frequency Rate, severity of incidents and improvement in ongoing worker’s compensation costs. Work with Loss Prevention/Safety Team to continuously review & update, the Distribution Center Safety Program. Identify and prioritize Safety & Loss Prevention risks for the DC & Supply Chain organization.

We’d love to hear from people with
  • Ensures a program is in place for opening and closing the facility, ensuring that premises are properly secured with no associates, guests or vendors left behind.
  • Maintain facility security measures and implements procedures for safeguarding company property and personnel.
  • Responds to and investigates incidents in storage yards, buildings and parking areas that are reported to Loss Prevention.
  • Operates, monitors, & maintains security control panels, alarms, and related security equipment.
  • Coordinate all internal exercise and drill requirements with local authorities
  • Loss Prevention and business resources such as CCTV, card access system, productivity reporting, time clock reporting, conducting surveillances, etc.
  • Coordinates security coverage with vendors.
  • Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others.
  • Conduct all Loss Prevention related investigations and interviews utilizing all available
  • This position supervises both Loss Prevention & Safety associates and is responsible for leadership and performance management responsibilities.
  • Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of the Distribution Center associates, guests and vendors.
  • Maintain a program to provide equal support for all three shifts for the facility.
  • Always represent the company in a positive and supportive manner
  • Lead and support, as necessary, expertise in safety and other incident related investigations identifying root causes and making recommendations to mitigate future risk through the company Incident Review Process.
  • Minimizing shrink, damages, lost productivity by facility associates & injuries
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as directed by senior leadership.
  • Responsible for training of all opening and closing personnel.
  • Maintain a Positive Impression of Control environment, to aid in the minimization of Loss Prevention risk.
  • Facilitate accident review board and safety meetings to include follow up and resulting communications
  • Develop all written safety programs and maintain them updated
  • Perform periodic security inspections and safety OSHA simulated walks and advises senior management of deficiencies.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3 years’ plus in supervisory or greater role in a Logistics/Distribution/Supply Chain
