Logistics Operation Manager Jobs

Volt is immediately hiring for a Logistics Operation Manager(Inbound Freight) in Santa, Ana, CA. This is a fantastic career opportunity with a global leader of some of the most recognizable products in the world. Bilingual Korean/English is required for this position.

As a Logistics Operation Manager you will:

• Source/negotiate with pre-qualified carriers to move irregular or urgent freight.
• Manage and oversee daily shipment operations from Terminals or Rail-ramps out of various locations in North America to all customers by scheduling, planning, and operating to provide the best customer service.
• Discuss and deliver feedbacks to the carriers to improve operational efficiency and performance
• Manage the schedule of shipments and communicate with carriers for those specific freight.
• Identify specific spot delivery conditions and customer requirements (e.g., appointments, equipment requirements, dock hours and etc.)
• Lead team members and manage overall work scope as a group leader
• Audit FBA, DEM/DET, operational accessory invoices based on contracts with customers/truckers and process in system for payment in a timely manner or stipulated credit terms.
• Oversee transportation arrangements for customers during the shipments process.
• Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly reports with combining necessary data and report to customers and HQ.

This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors’ Degree required
• Relevant Industry Knowledge required
• Ability to travel up to 10% in US warehouse locations
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to build trustworthy relationships with customers at all levels (C Level, Managers, Staff)
• Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office applications PowerPoint, Word, especially Excel.
• Experience in leading a group of team members with effective leadership
• 10+ years of experience in Logistics industry related including load planning, regional or hub operations management preferred
• TMS and WMS system experience
• Experience with vendor management
• Bilingual Korean/English preferred
