Job Description
Summary You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Marine Corps Logistics Command of NWCF SMAG MWCF. Responsibilities You will coordinate with program managers and logistics management specialist in the development of supporting data, conduct research an coordinate logistics support requirements and methodologies in support of equipment/systems. You will assists senior level specialists on equipment/system requirements and design review, special program board reviews, and logistics in-process review conferences. You will maintain close surveillance over logistics program documentation, significant action reports, and related data received from field personnel. Inputs correct and timely information on support capabilities, proper procedures for requesting services, and requirements for developing and implementing acceptable support agreements You will review blueprints and other technical data. You will assist with development and training for the work section. You will review, validate, and certify work section repair and buy request. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, monitoring, and coordinating logistic support plans directly supporting the maintenance and re-procurement activities for equipment/systems through the life cycle. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
