About the job

At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We are currently looking to hire an Warehouse Management Systems Specialist based in Portland, OR plant!


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • You will provide support to production and flow management of the facility through raw materials and finished goods verification, production schedule changes, losses and inventory information.
  • You will participate in daily management meetings; propose and create actions for improvement against weekly/monthly/yearly goals and objectives
  • You will compare inventories & research discrepancies between WMS & SAP
  • You will reconcile production pallets produced vs. distributions pallets received.
  • You will confirm production orders are completed/closed & final verification of high losses for accounting purpose.
  • You will verify and maintain proper inventory accuracy to meet deployment and customer service needs; perform accurate physical counts of raw material and/or finished goods for inventory control.
  • You will manage workflow of shipping in warehouse; communicates internal and external.
  • You will manage inventory through transactions and cycle count process.
About you
  • You will have an Associate’s degree, preferred.
  • You will strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • You will have minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing, warehouse management systems (dairy, chemistry, food, pharmacy). Knowledge of supply chain with demonstrated ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • You will have good verbal and written communication, presentation, organizing, prioritizing and implementation skills.
  • You will be able to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • You will have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate efforts around process improvement.
  • You will be able to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
  • You will be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
