Job Description
Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MINE WARFARE PROGRAM OFFICE of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. You will be responsible for the oversight of an ACAT IC Program's planning, directing and managing all efforts required to design, develop, produce, procure, integrate, deliver, and support operations of Littoral Combat Ships' Mission Modules and Affordable Weapons Systems. Responsibilities You will serve as Assistant Program Manager of Logistics (APM-L) for the Mine Counter Measures Mission Module (MCM MM). You will provide oversight of Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWCs) providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) products and services in support of program objectives and acquisition milestones. You will lead the Mine Counter Measures Mission Module (MCM MM) Logistics Team by convening meetings, setting priorities, and managing deliverables. You will collaborate and communicate across multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will develop product support strategies across the Product Support elements. You will analyze Product Support requirements, regulations, policies, processes, and techniques for program support of US Fleet operations. You will demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of program management, Configuration Management, System Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production Quality Management principles, policies, processes, and procedures that affect Logistics Management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, or evaluating the logistical actions required to support business, combat or weapon systems. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-03 broadband is equivalent to GS-12 / GS-13 grade levels. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
