KBX Logistics is looking for a Logistics Account Agent to partner with the internal and external business and carrier base to discover capacity opportunities for current and prospective customers of Loadshop.

Skills in communication, emailing, phone calling, and driving internal processes. In this role you are responsible to combine your sales and logistical expertise to sell transportation and shipment solutions. You manage logistics for assigned accounts and liaise between customers and carriers. KBX Logistics has offices in Green Bay, WI, Wichita, KS, and Atlanta, GA, but is open to this role being performed remotely.

What You Will Do

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
  • Negotiate price with shippers and carriers for both spot and contract freight
  • Manage your customer’s shipments with support from operations to ensure pick up and deliveries are on time and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Develop new and existing customers via relationships and spot/load boards
  • Source Carriers
  • Work with internal and external customers to identify opportunities
  • Source strategic capacity

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience with freight sales and/or freight brokering
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word to write business correspondence, Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and simple formulas, and Outlook for internal and external correspondence

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with inside/outside sales


For this role, we anticipate paying $55,000-$75,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
