Primary responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Working knowledge of commercial construction loan disbursements, project accounting, risk management, and loan documentation
- Interact with insurance companies, monitor strict insurance requirements and update database with revised insurance information
- Perform Second day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy
- Process payments and advances accurately and timely
- Interpret legal documentation and terminology relating to community development real estate transactions and servicing: low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bonds
- Review title endorsements, Reconciliation of Bank Controlled Reserve Accounts, Process Client Rate Elections, Organize and maintain various office electronic and hard copy files, and High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Manual interest billing
- Letters of Credit servicing
Experience requirements:
- Finance or Accounting degree or minimum 5 years in commercial real estate construction disbursement prefered
- Commercial Construction Real Estate Disbursement and Servicing experience required
Knowledge of low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bond servicing
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness of work
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of legal documentation and terminology relating to real estate transactions
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and time management skills; detail oriented
- Familiarity with standards of business correspondence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
