Loan Review Analyst I

Reports to: Loan Review Manager

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Assists Loan Review Manager in the preparation of annual loan reviews to include Due on Demand reviews and SBA loan reviews. This position will also assist loan officers in the preparation of loan and credit line renewals, extensions and modifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Minimum of 2 years direct business/commercial lending, underwriting, loan review or portfolio management experience within a financial services organization or at least 2 years as a Portfolio Specialist or comparable experience.

Experience/Skills: Solid understanding of accounting, financial statement analysis, interest calculations and loan documentation. Additional experience spreading financial statements, performing ratio analysis and the ability to formulate an independent credit view is desired. Must also demonstrate strong organizational, writing and communication skills, along with solid analytical and computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook and Statement Analyzer or other equivalent financial statement spreading software.

Tenure: Loan Review Analyst II, Category 08, requires 2 years tenure in the Loan Review Analyst I position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations and a promotion recommendation by the supervisor or manager. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
