Job Description
Overview:
We have a career opportunity for a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of Citizens Energy Group’s Learning Management System (LMS). Responsibilities include the administration of training content, learning resources and performance management documents housed on the platform. Responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of online content, assets, and other resources used for instructional and performance management purposes. Serves as the direct contact with platform and content providers, manages system releases/upgrades, coordinates interfaces with internal HR information systems, and monitors LMS best practices. Additionally, this position provides support, training and accountability for the LMS including daily administration, training of department learning administrators, system reporting, and employee inquiries/education on the LMS. Consults with internal customers serving as the subject matter expert for continuing operations and enhancements of the LMS to serve the needs of the organization.

Minimum Salary: $71,000 (Grade 9)
Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and analyzes training metrics; maintains training records and ensures accuracy
  • Provides end-user training and support of LMS including answering questions, providing advice and basic troubleshooting to resolve problems; investigating and seeking solutions to complex issues
  • Sets up instructor led training in the LMS and identifies LMS resources to supplement classroom training
  • Manages the preparation and import of SCORM courses into the LMS and assists in keeping the learning library with its content objects, media files, and courses up-to-date
  • Oversees the Performance Management module and process in LMS; updates and maintains performance documents and resources, delivers training, troubleshoots end user questions and implements process enhancements
  • Develops standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation
  • Supports departmental strategic initiatives and special projects
  • Trains and supports business area learning administrators and instructors
  • Provides technical troubleshooting and assistance to LMS users in navigating and completing training, escalating system issues to LMS vendor as applicable
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Serves as the LMS subject matter expert, providing best practice insight into all LMS functionality including: creating events, sessions, curricula, evaluations, email notifications, custom reports, standard reports and uploading content
  • Monitors LMS support inbox and responds to questions and issues
Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant professional work experience in LMS administration and/or system administrator role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources or related field or equivalent level of work experience
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills required. Experience with data analysis and reporting. Proficiency with technology; ability to learn and use a variety of computer systems including, Microsoft products

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • SHRM Certification
  • Working knowledge of SABA/Cornerstone learning management systems
