Responsibilities:
The Learning Management Systems Administrator is the lead for MJHS’s LMS and will oversee technical functions such as: the configuration, maintenance and testing of the system, as well as third-party software integrations. The Learning Management Systems Administrator is responsible for technical support of MJHS learning management system (LMS). This position is responsible for providing support to MJHS users and instructors in troubleshooting, delivery and maintenance of content, assets, and other resources used for instructional functions. The work is performed under the supervision of a Manager, Health Plans Learning & Development.
Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Acquires and maintains knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.
- Knowledge of SQL for reporting is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting LMS (SumTotal), including user and system support, system configuration and analytical reporting, content management and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with authoring tools (Articulate 360, Captivate), course design and development a plus.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with colleagues, internal customers, and vendors.
- Is a life-long learner; and maintains current organizational, industry and role-specific knowledge is committed to creating a learning culture at MJHS.
- Coursework and/or certifications relating to learning management system administration preferred.
- One or more of the following certifications preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Is results-oriented and concerned with quality.
- Knowledge of manual of file batch loading of LMS, i.e.: creation of csv files.
- Is an analytical thinker and problem-solver.
- Working knowledge of multiple web design technologies, such as understanding HTML/XML.
- Health Care provider or payer experience preferred.
- Possesses a deep understanding of all components, features, and functions of LMS, as well as system configuration.
- Presentation skills for system-related training.
- Actively participates in the process of information exchange.
- Has excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working within tight deadlines.
