Job Description
Seeking a Litigation/Bankruptcy Paralegal for our New Jersey Office with 5+ years of corporate legal or law firm experience. Responsibility for matters in Litigation and Bankruptcy to include document retrieval, organization and review, deposition digesting, monitoring of document production and trial preparation assistance, assist in identifying potentially relevant custodians, draft and issue legal hold notices; track responses; handle escalations and follow up when needed, answer attorney questions about the legal hold process and requirements, assist in conducting interviews of custodians regarding ESI, work with litigation support department to identify and preserve relevant sources of ESI and oversee ESI collections when appropriate, manage the collection of hard copy documents from individual custodians and coordinate the processing and objective coding processes, read and comprehend basic pleadings, prepare correspondence, memoranda and other communications with minimal supervision. Experience with chapter 11 matters is strongly preferred. Knowledge of, and ability to electronically file (CM/ECF) pleadings and Best Case also required.


Experience with electronic discovery is a plus. Candidates must be highly organized and possess the ability to prioritize, be a team player, and have excellent written and verbal skills. College degree and/or paralegal certificate required. Strong working knowledge of MSOffice, Relativity, Concordance, LAW, Best Case, Excel and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of iManage a plus.
