Life Enrichment Assistant Jobs

Provides psychosocial support and therapeutic services to residents to contribute to enhance their emotional, cognitive, social, recreational, and spiritual needs.

Assist the Director in carrying out various activity programs for residents.

Interacts with residents in group and independent situations engaging in sensory stiumulation activities.

Motivates residents to attend provided programs.

Acquaints self with all residents in facility. Adapts recreational pgrams according to resident diagnosis and suggests new and creative ideas for resident benefit.

Identifies resident interaction while engaged in group and independent situations and reports progress to Director.

Assist in transporting residents to and from programs and is actively engaged in all activities.

Completes daily attendance for one-on-one and group assignments.

Remains composed in difficult situations; deals calmy with stressful situations. Projects professional image and positive attitude.

Provides direction and motivation, setting example through open communiaton and modeling best practices.

Represents Vita Healthcare in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, fairness, personal integrity, dignity, personal comfort and privacy of others.
