QUALIFICATIONS:1.Demonstrated ability to work with teenagers in a supportive manner.

• Demonstrated ability to work with culinary education students.
• Knowledge of Culinary kitchen safety, culinary cooking, word processing applications, simple data entry, and culinary shopping.

REPORTS TO:CTE Director

JOB GOAL(S):1.Provide academic, culinary, and developmental assistance to students in the program.

• Tutor students one-on-one using the material given by the regular education teacher.
• Assist teachers and students with daily classroom activities.

{=html} 1. Assist in test taking. 2. Assist with collection and processing of student achievement data. 3. Assist with the daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and lab settings. 4. Monitor safety protocols.
Performance Responsibilities

• Give individual attention to students who are less motivated or slower in comprehension in a classroom and lab/kitchen setting.
• Be ready and available to help in any standard or non-standard situation due to the individual and unique needs of Special Education students.
• Provide small group or 1-1 tutoring support within the classroom as needed.

The district reserves the right to amend this job description as necessary. 5. Provide CTSO competition & leadership support.
