Job Description

Are you burnt out by Big Law and searching for a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility, balance, and will put your legal marketing skills to use? Fractional Law Firm CMO is seeking a fully remote part-time coordinator to support our law firm clients as well as the company’s marketing and business development efforts. The position is contract and will offer a minimum of 15 hours/week with the opportunity to grow over time.

In this role, you will contribute to a wide variety of client marketing initiatives. The coordinator will offer support across all areas of marketing, including branding, research, and social media. This role will also be responsible for administrative tasks associated with marketing. We are looking for a self-starter with good judgment, professional demeanor, and an eye for detail. A minimum of two years of experience working in law firm or professional services marketing is required.

You will report to the company founders, who have a combined 40 years of experience leading law firm marketing and business development for Am Law 100 firms. We provide seamless service to our clients with a focus on quality, innovation and responsiveness.

Fractional Law Firm CMO is a rapidly expanding startup with an impressive roster of Am Law 100, 200 and boutique firms across the country. We offer business development coaching, workshops, and sophisticated fractional marketing services to law firms large and small. We are a woman-owned, fully remote business.

Essential Functions: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)

  • Support marketing collateral development and maintenance, including website content.
  • Any other functions/duties as assigned by management
  • Provide administrative assistance, as needed.
  • Assist with social media campaigns and graphic design.
  • Assist with general research.
  • Coordinate pitch materials using proposal software.


Education, Work Experience, Skills - Required:

  • Ability to handle ambiguity, influence others and find ways to move initiatives forward to meet critical deadlines and produce results.
  • Strong organization and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with high-level attorneys, staff, and clients are essential.
  • Ability to create engaging graphics (iconography, infographics, social media graphics, website graphics, etc) using Canva or other design software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Meticulous proofing skills and an aptitude for learning new software are required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. A history of taking initiative is essential to success in this position.
  • Understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)and scheduling tools (Zoho Social, CloudCampaign, SocialShare, HootSuite, etc.)
  • A technology-forward mindset with the ability to adapt and implement new tools
  • Ability to work independently to make intelligent, informed decisions.
  • Functional knowledge of website builders and CMS tools (i.e. WordPress, SquareSpace, GoDaddy, etc)
  • Solid project management skills, business acumen and an ability to understand marketplace trends.
  • At least two years’ experience in the law firm/professional services environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Technologies/Software Skills - Required:

  • Canva or other design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Social Media Scheduler (e.g., Zoho, CloudCampaign, SocialShare, HootSuite, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
