We are looking for a motivated, curious and strategic Legal Analyst to join our Legal Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the intake and management of new contract review requests from all other departments within Greenlight using the Ironclad contract lifecycle management (CLM) software. This will include coordination with attorneys negotiating the agreements, collaboration with our finance and vendor teams on purchase order numbers, and an opportunity to work on a legal team handling diverse challenging work every day. There will also be chances for this analyst to gain experience in participating in drafting and negotiating contracts.. This is an excellent opportunity for new and recent college graduates who are considering attending law school in the future but want to gain real-life legal experience in a fast-paced and exciting corporate environment.


This role reports into our Senior Corporate Counsel.


Who you are:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (formerly G-Suite) (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides), Slack, SharePoint and DocuSign.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; intellectual curiosity; self-starter; demonstrated ability to take initiative, and work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities with attention to detail


What you will be doing:

  • Assist in the development and improvement of agreement templates, training materials, policies and processes to address and streamline recurring and anticipated business and legal needs.
  • Design, develop, refine, and simplify legal processes such as third party contract intake, and signature approval by department and dollar threshold.
  • Assist in use of Carta equity management platform
  • Work closely with Greenlight attorneys and outside counsel on other initiatives and projects.
  • Serve as the Ironclad administrator and work with Vendor Management to manage the following new contract processes: (i) new contract intake; (ii) assignment of contracts to legal staff for legal review; (iii) arrange conference calls with legal counsel for vendors to negotiate contractual terms; (iv) arrange for signature process with on finalized contracts with authorized departments heads through DocuSign integration; and (v) following contract execution, insert relevant meta data into Ironclad database as part of archive process.
  • Become an expert on Ironclad contract lifecycle management (CLM) software.
  • Organize and maintain a legal database.

  • Strong academic record, including a Bachelor's degree from major college/university with future goal of attending law school
