Lead Structured Cable Technician ($22-$28/Hr)

Hiring Immediately. ClearLine Networks, a growing Middle Tennessee contractor, has immediate openings for full time lead structured cabling technicians.

Lead cabling technicians must be proficient with hand/power tools, wiring/cabling and termination, fiber optic terminations and IT room/Data center build out. Must be proficient in the structured cabling field. Other detailed content as follows:

Qualifications:
*Ability to read blueprints, estimates, project Scopes of Work and prioritize tasks while leading a team of installers.

*Previous experience executing large projects (installing 500+ cables in one project) and ability to take ownership of projects.

*Experience in a commercial setting (businesses, schools, offices)

*Able to figure out designated pathways, good techniques when it comes to category 6 and 6A cable installation, management of cable slack, service loops, Jhook and/or cable tray installation.

*Have experience in the IT room buildout process including Rack and ladder rack installation, proper wire management placement, mounting equipment in racks, and methods of grounding and bonding.

*Proficient in copper cable terminations, labelling, and testing procedures.

*Able to work in a team environment. Good communication and teamwork are essential to achieving success here. An ideal candidate would be career-oriented and would possess a strong work ethic.

*Large tools, testers, fiber gear, etc will be provided by the company.
*Fiber Optic experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay Rate:
$22-$28 per hour
