Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead to join our telecommunications team. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance efforts in the domain of set-top boxes and broadband services, with a particular focus on video and embedded systems. Your primary objective will be to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying and tracking defects using an agile sprint process.
Responsibilities:
1.Lead and manage the QA team’s day-to-day activities, providing guidance and support to ensure effective defect tracking and resolution.
2.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to establish and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
3.Develop and implement test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for video and embedded systems in the set-top box and broadband domain.
4.Conduct thorough defect analysis, root cause investigation, and bug tracking, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of issues.
5.Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
6.Participate in agile sprint planning and review meetings, providing input on test efforts and identifying potential risks and dependencies.
7.Mentor and train team members, promoting a culture of quality and ensuring their professional growth.
8.Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the telecommunications domain, particularly related to video and embedded systems.
