JK Executive Strategies is proud to exclusively partner with a leading supplier of fall protection solutions in its search for a Lead Project Manager! The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and directing the execution of fall protection solutions projects. They will lead the project from initiation to close, working with vendors and tracking inventory of equipment and materials, labor, and cost. The ideal candidates should be knowledgeable about construction regulations, permits, and project management methodology.

This role is critical to the organization and will prove pivotal in the continued growth of the company’s product lines. This position requires a proactive, forward-thinking, and energetic person who is results-oriented and capable of professional and detailed follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Work with general contractors, critical subcontractors, and external vendors to negotiate profitable contracts.
• Assist in the acquisition of appropriate licenses and permits from the corresponding authorities and ensure construction is up to code.
• Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and sales.
• Calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget.
• Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if needed.
• Communicate the status of the project to key stakeholders by providing regular progress reports.
• Plan and schedule the entire project including engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation timelines to make sure project deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, not required.
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles.
• 5+ years of work experience in construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience using construction or project management software preferred. (BlueBeam / SalesForce is currently being utilized)
• Will need to have experience working as or with a field superintendent, with knowledge of architectural, reinforcing, structural steel, and roofing.
• Prior management experience to visualize future needs to build a team.
• Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
