Lead Generation Specialist (Fuel Sales)

The Lead Generation Specialist will be responsible for researching and communicating potential sales opportunities for Metroplex Energy. This role requires someone with a passion for data and research, who is detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced work environment. The Lead Generation Specialist will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Fleet Fuel and work closely with the Fleet Fuel team to ensure that leads are effectively nurtured and converted into sales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation efforts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads within the system.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that all lead sources are properly identified, tracked and optimized in order to maximize revenue.
• Other duties and projects as assigned by manager.
• Work closely with the sales team to prioritize leads and provide insights for effective sales calls.
• Conduct research on potential leads and gather information on existing leads.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance lead generation and sales efforts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
• Background in fuel, transportation, and/or trucking industry preferred but not necessary.
• Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce, Atlas, etc.).
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel required.
• 1+ years’ experience in Sales, Lead Generation, or similar role.
