Job Description
HOURLY RATE – GUARENTEED 40 HOURS WEEKLY!!!!!
Hired Gun Weed & Pest Control is a growing company in need of a Lead Fleet Mechanic to perform basic and advanced fleet maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles and equipment for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure our fleet is performing appropriately and able to be sent out to work without long periods of downtime.
Primary Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive repair technology
  • Performing skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
  • Fabricating
  • Providing service of the highest quality to our fleet
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values in all interaction with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers
  • Application of in-depth heavy equipment (skid steer, dozer, loader, backhoe, etc.) repair.
  • Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on automobiles/UTV’s/ATV’s
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Application of in-depth automotive/UTV/ATV repair
Requirements
We are looking for:
  • Must have Technician Tools
  • ASE Certified
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • A minimum of 5 years’ auto service / engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Welding knowledge a plus
  • Ability to lead a crew of Technicians
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience
  • Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
