SUMMARY

Location: Hilton Garden Inn Denver Tech Center

Position Type: Non-Management

The starting pay rate for this position is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, with the potential for gratuities.

Bring your culinary skills and join our team, as a lead cook, where you can dazzle our guests with your high standards of quality through the presentation, preparation, and cooking abilities.

This position may require flexible scheduling availability.

Job Requirements:

• Preparing and plating all food items on the menu
• Cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service
• Receiving food and beverage orders as needed
• Ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times
• Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests
• Using hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food
• Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel

Job Qualifications:

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
• Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
• Basic knowledge of how to operate all Food and Beverage equipment
• Ability to work well in stressful situations
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
