MTC is currently seeking candidates interested in a Laundry Worker position. This position is responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, maintaining records of laundry operations.

Other functions include:

• Operate laundry equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Provide the receipt, storage, repair and issue of detainee necessities, and implement inventory control procedures.
• Supervise detainees assigned to assist in the laundry.
• Perform tests on wash formulas.
• Maintain related records and preparation for related reports.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience in institutional laundry operations preferred. Valid driver's license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
