Do you like to stay busy and enjoy the great outdoors? If so, you may want to apply for the Laborer position with the Market Access and Certification Program, we have multiple positions available.
What you’ll be doing
  • This in the Klamath Fall, Oregon area.
  • You will collect official samples for submission to the plant health laboratory.
  • As a Laborer, you will perform inspection of seed field crops for pathogens and diseases of regulatory concern.
  • This position will start June 1, 2023, and the season is anticipated to conclude July 15, 2023.
  • This job posting is for temporary positions and does not include the typical benefits available for permanent employees. Temporary employees may be eligible for employee health benefits offered through the Public Employees Benefit Board (PEBB) as outlined in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Working conditions
  • Work is performed in the field.
  • May contact hostile individuals and work in remote areas in inclement weather.
  • May work extended hours and drive long hours.
  • May be exposed to hazardous chemicals in the laboratory and in the field.
  • May carry heavy loads over rough terrain.
