Laboratory Area Coordinator Jobs

Do you have experience of working in a laboratory? Are you well organised with excellent communication skills? Can you help to coordinate and manage the laboratory support services across a varied portfolio of research activity?
LIMR is a large research institute based at St James’ University Hospital campus. The site comprises laboratories on six floors of the Wellcome Trust Brenner Building as well as laboratories in the Clinical Sciences Building. Working alongside researchers, students, technicians and support staff across the institute you will coordinate the laboratory support operations. Working as a team of laboratory area coordinators you will ensure good laboratory working practices are followed across the institute and that procedures and operating policies are in place.
You will be required to draw on your laboratory experience to provide professional support for research technicians as well as demonstrate leadership capabilities in allocating duties to ensure the effective running of the busy laboratories.
