Lab Assistant Jobs

Performs accessioning, specimen processing, clerical and customer service duties in the Clinical Laboratory following established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. May assist with phlebotomy procedures as required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: None required. One year in a laboratory or related healthcare setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification: None required.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and standard office equipment, such as telephones, fax machines, computers. Must be able to work efficiently under stressful conditions and time constraints. Requires the ability to communicate clearly.
