Job Details



    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
    • Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
    • Endorsement in Elementary - Multiple Subjects
    • Provide proof of Covid-19 vaccine or a medical or religious exemption form
    • Valid Oregon Teaching License through TSPC
    • Understand and follow Standards for Competent and Ethical Performance of Oregon Educators
    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
    • TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
    • $30/month fee for full family insurance (medical, dental, vision)
    • $140/month contributed to HRA VEBA to help offset out of pocket medical expenses
      • Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
    • District paid employee contribution to PERS (Public Employees Retirement System)
      • TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
    • $500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance
    • Excellent fringe benefits (will be split in ½ between the two hired teachers):
      • $30/month fee for full family insurance (medical, dental, vision)
      • $140/month contributed to HRA VEBA to help offset out of pocket medical expenses
        • Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
      • $500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance
    • .5 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
    • Estimated start date – August 25, 2023 (new staff orientation)
    • Salary- 2023/24: $42,880 - $77,446 - Dependent on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
    • Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
    • 403 (b) Supplemental Retirement Saving Opportunities
    This job share is subject to the provisions of the contract and applicants will receive a copy of the Memorandum of Agreement to sign with the district.
